Part 1: Install Downloader

  1. Open My Apps

    From the Fire TV home screen, open My Apps.

  2. Get more apps

    Select Get more apps.

  3. Search for Downloader

    Choose Search, then press Down and OK and begin typing Downloader.

  4. Choose Downloader

    Select Downloader from the results and press OK, then select Download.

  5. Wait for the install

    Wait for Downloader to finish downloading and installing. Do not open it yet; press Back and return Home.

Part 2: Allow the installation path

  1. Open device settings

    Go to Settings → My Fire TV, then select About.

  2. Reveal developer options

    Highlight your Fire TV device and press Select seven times if developer options are not already visible.

  3. Open Developer Options

    Return to My Fire TV, open Developer Options and confirm ADB debugging if your device presents that prompt.

  4. Allow Downloader

    Open Install Unknown Apps and turn permission on for Downloader, then return Home.

Part 3: Install and configure your player

  1. Open Downloader

    Allow requested file access and dismiss the welcome message.

  2. Use your supplied setup source

    Enter the setup code or official source supplied with your subscription confirmation, then press Go.

  3. Review and install

    Accept the player’s privacy or install prompt when appropriate, choose Install, wait for it to finish, then open the player.

  4. Add a playlist

    Choose Add Playlist or Add User, select the supported login method and enter the subscription access details you received.

  5. Keep your channel settings

    When the player asks, retain available TV and VOD channel options, then continue.

  6. Test playback

    Wait around a minute for the channel list to load, then open Live TV to confirm playback.
